How does Petzy work?
Petzy connects pet buyers with verified sellers. Browse listings, message sellers directly through the platform, and arrange to meet the pet in person before making a decision.
Is it free to list a pet?
Yes — creating a standard listing on Petzy is completely free. We also offer optional featured listing upgrades if you want extra visibility in search results.
How do I become a verified seller?
Go to your profile settings and apply for verification. You'll need to submit a valid government-issued ID and proof of address. The review process typically takes up to 48 hours.
How do I report a suspicious listing?
Every listing has a "Report" button. Click it, select a reason, and our moderation team will review the listing within 24 hours. You can also contact us directly through the contact page.
Can I message sellers before buying?
Absolutely. We encourage buyers to message sellers, ask questions, and request additional photos or health records before arranging a visit.
What payment methods are accepted?
Many listings on Petzy support secure checkout powered by Stripe, where your payment is held safely until you confirm collection of your pet. Sellers who have enabled this will show a "Buy Now" button on their listing. For other listings, payment is arranged directly between buyer and seller — in those cases we recommend using secure, traceable payment methods and never sending cash in advance.
How do featured listings work?
Featured listings appear at the top of search results and category pages with a prominent badge. Boosts last for 30 days and are available exclusively for Petzy Pro subscribers. Featured listings typically receive significantly more views and enquiries.
