Are there any fees for buyers?
Browsing and messaging are completely free. When you pay through Petzy Payment, a 5% protection fee (capped at £50) is added — that fee covers the buyer guarantee that protects your money until collection.
Can I buy a pet without paying online?
Yes — if the seller offers cash on collection or bank transfer, you can arrange that directly. Just remember those methods aren't covered by the Petzy Buyer Guarantee.
How do I know a seller is genuine?
